Pee Dee District Youth
Jakayla Iyana Gregg was born on January 21, 2009 in Florence, SC. She is the only child of Kimberly Bethea and Rodney Gregg. Jakayla is a member of Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church in Marion, SC, where she is a member of the Junior Missionary, Junior Usher Board, Junior Trustees, and the Sunday School.
Jakayla was selected Miss Pee Dee Baptist in 2019 and was later selected Miss South Carolina Baptist in the same year. She currently serves as Chaplain of the Pee Dee District Youth Department. Her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13 ~ “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
She is currently an eighth grader at Johnakin Middle School in Marion, SC, where she serves as President of the Beta Club. Upon completing high school, Jakayla plans to attend college and ultimately pursue a career in the medical field.
